Or perhaps the car broke down, again, and left you stranded in the rain while all those damned commuters just whizzed right by you, splashing you with puddles and never bothering to so much as tap their brakes. Or perhaps you woke up on the wrong side of the bed and the day just became a series of unfortunate events. To top it all off, you’re broke.
